Road trip snack ideas?
Hi all! Long time no check in... but things are going great! I'm happy, in control, on plan, and feeling amazing three months out.
I'm going on a road trip this weekend, and I'm planning sleeve friendly snack options for the car. I'm bringing cheese sticks and fruits and veggies, but most of the other snacks I eat aren't so car friendly. Any ideas for good/not messy/no spoon required snack options?
Thanks,
Ginnie
I love beef and turkey jerky treats and laughing cow cheese with celery sticks. No mess and takes time to eat. I find "road hunger" is the worst to combat. I know you said no spoon but I also like taking sugar free pudding and adding protein powder to it. Don't forget RTD protein shakes.
Safe travels.
Hard boiled eggs. There is no more perfect food on the planet.

Ribeye. Since you'll be in the car, get bone-in, not boneless. The bone gives you something to hold on to while you drive.

Steamed edamame, roasted chickpeas are a fav. Almonds and cheese sticks for sure. Protein shakes baggies with pre-scooped powder and a water bottle or RTD Ready to drinks... I like those Oh Yeah bottles Vanilla Cream is really yummy.
Safe travels!
I just wanted to chime in and say thank you for posting this; I'm driving from Canada down to my sister's in WV for Christmas and with 12-13 hours on the road each way, my husband and I are looking for ideas.
I really appreciate everyone's input and to the OP, thank you for this post! *spreads the love*
