I can't believe my surgery is tomorrow. I have been on a liquid diet for a week and I feel okay. I am going to enjoy chugging a bottle of water for the last time at 11:59 :0). Any suggestions or advice?

I will be a week post op tomorrow and feel so much better. My advice is to rest in the hospital, walk as much as you can, but don't pu**** and sip away. It will be slow going at first, but don't get discouraged. Each day you will feel better and better. I' m not 100%, but I am about 80% and that's pretty good for a week out. Also down 20lbs since starting my two week pre op diet so I am more than thrilled with that. Good luck and keep us posted!

Congratulations! Advice, I guess, is follow the rules. I'm only 5 days out so I'm no expert. I felt great the day after surgery, but it's been a little slower since then. For me it has been taking the nausea meds on a regular basis and sipping warm liquids. You have to keep after it to get it all in. Good Luck! You will be beautiful!

This is VERY exciting!!! I had my pre-op appointment with my surgeon yesterday and she said to be sure to communicate to the nurses in the hospital for any needs. May you have a good and speedy recovery and we'll be thinking about. Christine

Day after I felt great... Third day I felt hit by a truck. It's because the anesthesia wears off so take it easy and don't get discouraged. Walk when you can you will have lots of gas - that helps so much!

Good luck! Best advice given to me was to walk as soon post surgery and as often while in the hospital!! After that sip, sip, sip
