Need to rant...

So I realized today that I'm not as close to people as I thought. I'm talking about girls I work with I thought we got along until I realized once again I'm the fat girl in this group to I know it's only temporary, but it still hurts. I mean it just reminds me of that movie that's coming out DUFF and I can't wait to stop being the DUFF person. Ok end rant. 

If they treat you badly now they probably won't change just because you lose weight and seriously would you want to be friends with a group of people that treat others badly? I'd say look for better friends, myself I never got friendly with people I worked with because we had little to nothing in common and it's just not a good practice to get too chummy with co workers.

Yeah. I am gonna be looking for a new job anyways I need a more serious job. 

Why are you a stand up comic? Sorry I could not resist. Seriously people treat us how we let them. Once you have some more self esteem and stick up for yourself they will now you are not a punching bag. I tell this to my wife all the time.

Well...in knowing this now, you can truly appreciate the angst and sheer internal panic when you lose your weight and another girl becomes "the fat one".  You may see some animosity start to stir because you're a threat instead of a comfort to be around.  It will be mind-blowing, but you'll be prepared for it.

One of my "friends" who I have now cut out of my life after a few second chances actually said to me, "Well, I guess I'm the fat one now."  I replied that I did not realize that was my role.  She is the only "friend" I lost, but looking back she always had a vicious mean streak.
