My birthday and EGD on Monday, Surgery and a 'new birthday' for me on Tuesday
HI,
I have mostly been on Facebook support groups but I thought I'd post here too. I'm trying to get myself and my house ready for surgery, which is several hours away from home. My family, unfortunately, won't be able to be with me until the next day after surgery ( a friend is bringing me to the EGD and surgery). This may make me feel down- I hope not. In the past I have had emotional roller coasters about a week after other surgeries- even smaller ones. I think it has something to do with the anesthesia wearing off, and being frustrated by not being back up to speed. I appreciate prayers and happy thoughts!
