Well, surgery is finally here.  Monday is the BIG day.  2 questions girls ~  We're you able to wear your bra and panties the next day after surgery and did you have to take your protein powder to the hospital?  Other than that I'm good to go and can hardly wait....Kim

There is absolutely no reason to bring protein powder to the hospital.

you will likely not WANT to wear your bra and panties cause you are going to have incisions on your.  Belly ,plus dressings and also possibly a drain.

It's more comfortable withour your bra and panties. Take my word for it, and most people will agree I'm sure, you really won't want to wear them and you won't actually care. The one thing about being in the hospital after surgery. All modesty flies out the window when you are just trying to feel better. Pain may also be a factor. Underwear may be irritating. As for protein powder, you really won't need it. You will start off on clears for the time in the hospital.

I had no drains and yes I wore my regular clothes the next day. No need for the protein powder in the hospital. They will give you whatever you need until you check out and go home. Best of luck!

I wore my panties from the afternoon of the surgery day. They made me feel less naked. I also wore my own pajamas while walking around the halls and later while walking outside around the hospital. The panties were a little bit uncomfortable on my belly button incision, but it wasn't bad enough to deter me from wearing them, which I'm glad I did since they were needed. I had my "monthly" come early so needed them. I also found the panties helped keep the bandage in my belly button. There wasn't any need to have any protein powder along. I wasn't put on protein shakes until 10 days after surgery.
