I would call your dr. - doesn't sound like something we should be advising on

What sort of pain?  Is it in your side or actually inside of your body?  Most of us experience some side pain post-op from where a muscle was stitched.

Regardless, you should talk to your doctor.  Pain is not something that people should have to "deal with forever."

I assume you're only drinking liquids at this point?

Please check with your surgeon's office ASAP. It is always best to get a medical opinion on matters such as these. Don't leave anything to chance. I'd hate for you to have an actual complication and have it go untreated.

Please let us know how you're doing.

You have had a lot of nerves cut during your procedure. I would expect that it will hurt or feel strange for a while. It should resolve. If you see other signs that seem concerning to you, though, please call your surgeon ASAP. I'm glad that it doesn't seem to be anything serious. Use your pain meds as needed.
