350 pounds to 198 pounds. woohoo Onederland!!!
That is why I posted my starting weight in the title. I remember I use to look for higher weights to see what people got to. Its very doable. I have been very dedicated and I stay on track. I love my sleeve and I love the new me.
Thank you for that. It gets frustrating sometimes that I have lost 79 pounds, but to a casual observer I am still a big girl. I celebrate that I am now a big girl and not a HUGE girl. I follow the program and stay positive, but it is daunting sometimes to realize that I am not even half way there yet, in terms of weight loss.

My wife and I both had VSG surgery on September 1. I have about 25 lbs to go. I'm stopping at 215. She on the other hand has still has 105 lbs left... So I know how you feel.
Don't get discouraged... You'll get there.
Hi Tracy,
I had my surgery last monday and I'm feeling pretty darn good. How did you loose so fast? I'm on 70 grams of protein and 435 calories a day and it's going really slow. I also exercise 30 minutes a day. So far thats the best I can do. What was your secret. You are my idol. Thanks for the help.
Robin
Thanks, Robin, but please don't idolize me - I did not walk a perfect program by any means!
My program (once I could up the calories a bit after the first month) was 700-800 calories, 80 grams protein, less than 40 carbs. And I did very moderate exercise 5-6 days a week (about 30 minutes like you). I didn't increase the intensity of my exercise until I'd been in maintenance for about 3 months. Exercise is important for overall physical health but that's not how you lose the weight. It's all about the food...make sure you aren't doing any simple carbs (rice, pasta, flour of any sort, fruit) and you WILL see results.
You are doing everything right at this point. People lose at different rates; I was more of a progressive loser, meaning that I lost consistently along the way. Other people (like my husband) are stair-step losers where they are in a holding pattern for awhile and then drop 3 lbs. overnight. I definitely didn't lose quickly, after the first three months I was lucky to average 1.0-1.5 lbs per week.
Keep up the great work
