Getting organized for surgery

I received approval from my insurance company for the surgery and have been "patiently" waiting for my surgeon's office to schedule.  Approval received right in the middle of the holiday vacation season.

I'm trying to get a list together of the things to make sure that I have ready at home for AFTER the surgery.  I figure my surgery will happen 3rd week of January so figured I would take the time to make sure I have all the little things at home.  

I go from being thrilled to being very nervous about having surgery done.  

Finding this board was great....I've been stalking on it for months.  :)

I would just call the office to schedule! I work in a physicians office and they usually notify us by snail mail and sometimes we only find out from the patient. Don't be afraid to call and inquire!
