What is your pre-op diet?

Mine was five protein shakes a day, so my advice would just be "drink shakes."  ;)  The first 3-4 days are always the worst and it gets easier from there!

3 meals /day.  1 protein shake each meal; 1/2 c. fruit each meal, breakfast: 1/2 c unsweetened Oatmeal(do not like the other hot cereals mentioned) Lunch: Vegetable soup no meat; 1/2 c. SF pudding (if desired) Dinner: Green salad with 1-2 tsp lite dressing, 1 container of SF/Fat free yogart.  Protein shakes only the last five days.

My mental strategy is "eating to fuel my body, not for pleasue"  So far so good......

This is by far the worst part of the process.  Stay the course and you will do fine.  Just keep your eye on the goal - a healthy and fit you!
