7 days all inclusive -- SUCCESS!
I just got back from a week in the Dominican Republic at a super wonderful all inclusive resort. I was a bit nervous to get on the scale this morning after indulging a bit all week. I am up 1 lb from when I left and still happily in my maintenence range. I guess my strategies worked well. Here they are -- take what works for you and leave the rest :)
1) drink so much water -- constantly have water w/ you
2) at the buffet enjoy the conversation -- drink a water bottle and chat with people before you go up
3) make sure your first bites are of solid protein -- then have some bites of other stuff. STOP when you are full and ask them to take away your plate
4) enjoy a piece or two of dessert -- they cut them very small so the portions are helpful
5) choose when to enjoy alcohol. I stayed away from the sugar drinks and had a couple glasses of wine on 3 of the evenings.
6) exercise :)
7) sleep
and MOST important -- HAVE FUN!
Excellent advice and congratulations on doing so well while on vacation.
