Strange symptoms. Any help??
OK. So, I DO have an appt. with my surgeon tomorrow. But, I'm curious if this is even related to my surgery. Had my sleeve on 11/24. Have felt fantastic since. Lost 55 lbs. pre-op. And 28 since surgery. Today I started with dizziness and lightheadedness every time I stand up or bend over. My blood pressure has been steady around 110/70 since surgery. I've had no issues with my protein, water OR vitamins. Any ideas???

My blood pressure has really dropped since my surgery. I frequently get dizzy and lightheaded when I quickly stand up or bend over cleaning and other tasks. I have learned to transition slowly. I too have no issues with my protein and vitamin levels. I find this happens more frequently in the morning and I have adapted to make sure I dont make sudden movements and when I work I try and not bend over with my head down too much.... i reposition for the activity. I am not overly concerned. I think it is just low blood pressure. Last time the Dr checked mine it was 100/60 in the office.
My husband experienced this a lot. It is related to low blood pressure. Having a serving of Power Ade Zero helps. It's sugar free and calorie free. Our PCP also recommended using it as well.

What Gwen and others said.
Your heart was used to pumping blood through a lot more body and that takes a lot of pressure. A few months after surgery, the blood pressure slows down and the blood does not get up to your head fast enough when you stand up.
Before you stand up, pump your legs a few times to get the blood flowing. This is temporary and my body adjusted after a few weeks.
