post op day 2

Had surgery yesterday! Everything went well, wasn't in too much pain. Today is worse, did anyone expierenced that? Everytime I get up my left side aches & burns :( I go for my upper gi in 15 min, I hope all is well.

It will get better! See my post below on day 2 and 3 and all the helpful replies I received. I am doing much better today. :-)

My 2nd day was worse.  Stay on top of the pain meds, nausea meds, and sipping as much as you can tolerate. 

It will get better.

Welcome to the loser's bench, Olivia!   It does get better - sometimes not noticeable day-to-day but week by week you'll get stronger and feel better.
