I am curious if you had any success with band? I had a band and did have some success but much greater with sleeve. If you are truly committed i would highly recommend it.  No regrets here

I started with a band but had several complications and after 3 years I had to keep it completely unfilled and I had gained nearly all of my weight back. I had random tightening of my band which made it difficult to keep most anything except slider foods down.

I revised to the sleeve and have been very successful.

Best of luck!

It's important to understand that wls is not one-size-fits-all, so give some significant thought at this revision.  You want this to be your last surgery, right?

The sleeve is the perfect solution to those who did well with the band and for whatever reason cannot have it now.

If you never got good results with the restriction of the band, though, I wouldn't expect much more with the sleeve.  Your body may need the malabsorptive component that the RNY and DS benefit from.
