I'm 6 years out! 161+lbs down! Size 28+ to a size 4 or 6! It works...but you still have to change your eating and exercise habits. It's a great tool! Don't throw it away

Let me tell you how much I love my sleeve...

Hi idgett,

I'm almost one month out and still having a tough time recovering from the surgery and adjusting the sleeve. Good to hear someone's come through it with flying colors.

At one month your just starting to eat solid foods...Stay away from slider foods such as shakes and soups...stick with as much protein as you can. drink lots of water...

If you went so far as to have the surgery...then go the rest of the way and commit to lifestyle changes.

Also stay away from the scales, and pay attention to the way your clothes fit...your a woman...weight can fluctuate for many different reasons, but your inches don't lie

Nonember18,

Everybody gets stuck now and then. Shake up your diet and exercise program a little...I seem to recall myself and others having a 3 month stall... Usually changing a little in your diet will get it moving...sometimes we eat to little of something, and our bodies think we need to store it. Go back to the basic food pyramid for a few days, see if that gets you moving again.
