Pre op diet

anyone else not required to do a pre op liquid diet?  My surgery is in a week and my surgeon did not require me to do a pre ip liquid diet.  The only thing I have to do is a day before surgery clear liquids only.  Everyone else talks about these 2 week liquid diets.  I am 5 foot 8 280 pounds male 31 years old.

No Pre-op liquid diet for me either.  I have the same requirements as you do the day before.

Consider yourself very lucky you dont have to do the pre-op diet!! It is no fun that is for sure. lol 

My surgeon only requires the liquid diet the day before surgery...thankfully.

No diet here!  My only instruction is nothing after midnight the night before.
