Hi everyone!

I was just checking the calendar this morning when I realized it was my eight month surgiversary!

I had a pretty great March. I went on vacation in Vancouver, visiting one of my dearest friends from college. Saw a lot of weird theater, went to great museums, ate some awesome sushi, knit a lot of socks, and jogged in Stanley park twice! Awesome post run hair:

Mug I should have bought at Yokoyaya (a 100 yen store):

My weight loss has slowed quite a bit. I'm hovering right around 202-204, which is just annoying but I have to be patient. I'm not proud to report that I had one day of truly bad eating. It was the flight back from Vancouver and I just lost. my. mind. It was sobering because I just felt so miserable and awful, just physically gross. And then I got sick, just with a head cold but I haven't felt quite right in a week. It's back to my routine and I'm definitely not keen to eat like that again.

Anyway, here are my progress pics complete with a goofy face. I'm modeling my favorite running wear (Brooks), all procured at a deep discount on eBay! To date, 133lbs lost post op, and 230lbs lost overall!

Edit to add: It's 4 days later and I hit 199!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was beyond giddy when I saw that number on the scale.

Thank you! I am definitely very happy most of the time. I will be honest, I struggle with my mood sometimes and with the fact that I can no longer comfort myself with food, but overall I am just so grateful for all that I can now do!
