Happy Friday everyone! I misjudged how much protein powder I had left and ran out. It is going to be a struggle to hit my protein goals today but I will get as close as I can.

B: 2 Leftover Pizza Bites

L: 2 oz Oscar Mayer roast beef and a pickle slice

S: Protein Shake

D: Shepherd's Pie and peas

S: Beef Jerky and possibly also a cheese stick. It will depend on what I have the capacity for.

W&V: On track

E: Going on a long walk this afternoon. ETA: I made it 6 miles!!! This is the longest I have made it and I am SUPER excited. The last mile was a bit painful but I'm pretty sure it was in the range of "pain" and not injury. I will know more tomorrow if my knee is ticked off at me. This is such a big milestone for me.

L: Thai tuna packet (a little more kick than my Irish tastebuds can handle)

S: Light & Fit Greek yogurt (strawberry cheese cake)

D: Grilled chicken and veggies

S:  Don't know yet, probably a piece of fruit if I hit my protein goals, otherwise another yogurt

E:  Walking towards goal of 10,000 steps.

Lunch 2 - buffalo chicken casserole broccoli slaw

Dinner - pulled pork and mashed cauliflower

exercise -chasing a toddler all day will have to do it!

I'm babysitting my granddaughter today, and I'm surrounded by carbs.  I've already had a handful of chocolate covered cranberries.  I miss chocolate!

Chasing a toddler should definitely count! If I had 1/10 of their energy I would be able to accomplish so much in a day.

I'm home on a Friday, so I did ALL THE FITNESS CLASSES.  It was nice to see my class friends again - they were concerned since I haven't been there in about a month!  I'll miss classes next week, but I'll be back the week after.  

1: frankenshake
2: pho with meatballs (I mainly stuck to the non-noodle stuff, but I had noodles too.) 
3: quiche (homemade this time!)

Your picture sold me on the quiche!! Yum! I'll be out of town for Easter and I'm having faux Easter Brunch this Sunday! I had everything planned but the egg dish!! I think your recipe will be perfect!

I'm so excited for you Gwen. I have seen you post about how much you enjoy your classes so it's great that you got to do them all! I imagine that was a very nice way to kick off your weekend.
