Tummy tuck update

Hi All,

I had my fleur di lis abdominoplasty on Monday, and it was a piece of cake.  I was up and walking within 3 hours of completing surgery.  No headache, or grogginess, no nausea.

There is pain at the incisions so I am using pain killers now.  This means I can't drive until I'm off the pain killers.

The doctor removed 5.5 pounds of skin from my belly.  And the belly looks great.  I'll post some before and after pictures in a few days.

Best wishes,

Carol

Great news. Just take good, gentle care of yourself while you heal. Congratulations!

Awesome, that's great.  As a "neighbor" did you go to someone local for the surgery?  I hope to get plastics at some point.

Yes,  I got a recommendation from a friend who used this surgeon after weight loss and recommended him highly.  His name is Jeffrey Smith, and he has an office in Chelmsford, (Northeast Plastic Surgery) and he did the surgery at Lowell General.

I'm thrilled with the quality of his work.  He was very informative and took lots of time to explain the procedures, the various choices,  the things to watch out for, etc. I really liked working with him.  He was also about 1/2 the cost of doing the same procedure at Lahey!

I'll post pictures in a few days, when I get these drains out and I can maneuver a little better.

Best wishes,

Carol

Yay, Carol!  That is AWESOME.  I cannot wait to see pics.  I am so glad you are already thrilled with the results.  It's like the final step, isn't it?  You put in the work, lost all the weight, and now you can enjoy your body in and out of clothes.  So happy for you!
