VSG on 04/27/15

9 days until surgery.

Religiously on Pre-op diet. Have lost 26 pounds over the last month. Oddly enough not a single pound off this week? Hopefully drop a few more lbs soon? Odd that nothing came off this week I think?

I haven't cheated but obviously in a small stall?

How much did you lose pre-op?

Male 55, Initial weight 388#, and 6'1" / surgery weight 360#/Current Weight is 296#

26 pounds is great! Don't worry about not losing weight this week, your body is probably just trying to catch up. Best of luck with your surgery!

You're doing great at 26 pounds. I lost only 10 and that was due to the one-week pre-op liquids.

If your surgeon requires a week of pre-op liquids, you will lose more weight, I promise.

I lost about 20 or so before surgery(over 3 months). I think you are doing great, don't worry about a stall this week, its no biggie. Also, be prepared for stalls after VSG. I didn't have any the first 6 months, but many people reported stall very early. Good luck!

Fantastic job. I lost 15 lbs on a 2 week preop. Surgery took it from there...

The pre-op diet is about getting your liver healthy, so I wouldn't worry about weight loss.
