I had the gastric sleeve 07/23/15 and am doing very well.  My problem is in the mornings I am very weak and shakey .  Could this be dehydration?

Do you feel better after you eat ( about 15 minutes after)? It sounds more like a blood sugar issue. Other possibilities is low blood pressuree. If it is blood pressure, try sitting up on the edge of your bed for a couple minutes before getting up. Test your blood sugar if you can. You can by a monitor with enugh supplies to get started for about $20 from walmart.

Are you tracking fluids? I'd recommend doing so just to see how much you are getting in. If you think dehydration is possible, get ahead of it as soon as possible.

I've had a similar issue a couple of times post op.  Since then I try to move my legs a lot in bed before sitting up (blood pools in legs overnight.. need it redistributed).  Then I sit up but don't get out of bed until I've had 8oz or so of water.  For me, it helps, but it's also time consuming.
