Post-op shakes

Hope this question doesn't seem silly.  I am 8 days post-op now and doing well.  My current diet is 3 protein shakes (8 ounces) every day and one snack if I want it.  I know for the rest of my life I am supposed to stop eating when I'm full.  Right now when I drink the shakes (it takes me about 45-60" to get it in), it is the last thing I want and I feel pretty darn full when I'm done.  But I'm also not hungry when I start, just know it needs done.  I'm not making a mistake by forcing it down, right?  My total biggest fear is messing something up or stretching the pouch!  Thanks for any reassurance/advice!

You can't really stretch your stomach out with fluids because they'll go right through the open pyloric valve, so it's not something you need to worry about.  Just sip sip sip, and work on getting in all of your fluids and proteins so you can heal.  :)
