Lots of people have had it happen.  Very few people lose in a straight line.  Most lose, stop, lose, stop, gain, lose, stop......  It probably fluid retention.  Maybe your time of the month?  That'll cause some wild fluctuations.

It is that time of the month, but it is still so frustrating to see the scale go up.

I gained 4 lbs on week 3 post op. I was that time of the month for me. Week 4 I didn't move, but week 5 I lost 6 lbs. So I am assuming that I was just retaining water weight. In the end.. At 6 weeks post op I have lost about 28 lbs so far and that's not too shabby =) good luck! Don't freak out too much about a gain or a non gain.. Remember inches are sometimes even better than an actual poundage loss.

((Hugs))

I feel your frustration. I've either gained or plateaued for most of this week. Like you, I do NOT understand how I can gain weight on less calories than I'm told that my body even needs to function. I just want to scream.

If you're sticking to your plan, the weight will come off.  Don't let the scale dictate your emotions because it's easy to use it as an excuse to spiral downward.

Your weight will fluctuate due to many factors.  Trust in the process, keep on plan and the rest will take care of itself.

Are you tracking what you eat?  Are you drinking enough fluids?
