I've been a little slack on my eating this week, and this weekend will be challenging because of mother's day and my granddaughter's birthday, and house guests.  Yesterday, I succumbed to the home-made chocolate chip cookies at my meeting.  But I counted it as a meal, so perhaps I'll be ok weight-wise.

Breakfast - salmon

Lunch - cheeseburger pie

lunch2/snack - broccoli slaw

dinner - orange balsamic chicken, or perhaps bbq pork, or maybe we'll go out for indian food.  I'm not sure, but it probably won't be the best for the plan...

water - good

vitamins - on track

exercise - walking a mile or two a day...

Have a happy Mother's day and lovely weekend.

I did not follow through on my plans at the restaurant last night and I'm still paying for it this morning.  I ate about an ounce of feta cheese off our hummus platter we ordered for the table and a few olives.  That part I think I did great with.  I should have just stopped there.  I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, no bun, and tater tots (WTF was I thinking?)  Obviously I could only eat like two of them and two bites of the pork before I was done. I was a little uncomfortable, but this biggest mistake was eating 4 more tater tots before bed.  I ate them quickly and didn't chew them enough. I rationalized that choice by saying to myself I still had a snack left for the day to eat and some calories.  I wasn't hungry, and even if I was, those were not at all an appropriate choice. I was SO uncomfortable. I still don't feel right this morning and couldn't finish my 2 oz of plain yogurt. Lesson learned. Here's to a better day today.

B - 1 oz plain Fage yogurt.  I'll probably sip on some proti-water this morning to try and feel better.

S - Chocolate Premier

L - We are going to be out and about all day.  I'm thinking of eating lunch at whole foods salad bar and getting a bit of cottage cheese

S - HB egg

D - We are going out to eat again (my husband's relative has been visiting and we are treating her before she leaves tomorrow).  The restaurant tonight I am much more familiar with and its a seafood place so I know I have good options.  My plan is shrimp ****tail.

W: On track

E: May not happen today - if it does, it will be a walk in the evening

V: Not until week 5.
