Do you have a Smart and Final local to you? (smartandfinal.com) -- They sell 1oz, 2oz, 3oz, 4oz, 6oz, 8oz, 12oz, 16oz (and so on) containers.  I forget how much a cup and lid cost for the 3 and 4 oz containers I bought....but I want to say it was around 6 or 7 cents each.

I think the 6, 8 and 16 ounce ones are like 13 cents each (with lid).

Hi

I use these for my jello. Perfect size, and you can throw them away.

I use these too. If you want to label things, like what date you made the jello, you can just stick a piece of masking tape on the lid, and it peels right off before you wa****

Dixie makes cups in 3 oz size (Bathroom cups) and 5 oz size.....and they are disposable...

I'm big on recycling, so I use the plastic (I think they're GLAD) with the lids and then I keep on using them til I either lose the lid or I just get tired of looking at them

I use a food scale. 4 ounces is a measure of weight, not volume, so you need a scale. Weigh out your four ounces of jello or whatever and you can keep it in any container you want.

Interesting...I was told weigh my protein, but that everything else was volume, not weight-- 1/4 cup (2 oz.) or 1/2 cup (4 oz.).

Some things don't always fit in the cups, but they do always weigh :)

i usually get plastic shot glasses with lids for 2 oz measures but they aren't as sturdy as the ones posted on here. I make my protein pudding in them
