Colonoscopy & Sleeve
Hi Guys,
I am 8 weeks out and having a colonoscopy tomorrow. So fun! At any rate, I am not concerned about the clear fluids required today. We have all been through that. My concern is the Go-lyte ****tail. I have had colonoscopy's before and that drink is plenty awful. I can handle the taste (add Crystal Light), but I am very worried about becoming dehydrated. Any suggestions on replenishing water?
The people who could best answer this would be your bariatric surgeon's office. Sadly other doctors don't often realize how small a gastrectomy is so close to surgery from the swelling.
I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!
