Helpful Hints and Tips for Using and Navigating OH

As you check out OH, you'll see many features and tools that are created for our members as you embark on your WLS journey.  Be sure and take the video tour of the site. You can access this by clicking your profile, * in upper right hand corner, replay tour.

We suggest you upload your avatar, fill in your surgery type, date and surgeon.  If you have not done so, let us get to know you by adding some information on your profile "about me" section.  Hang out on your surgery type forum to interact with those that had the surgery you are going to have.  Great support and information.

As with all internet families we are made of different personalities, life, and bariatric experiences.  ObesityHelp is not heavy handed with moderation.  We look to our community to share, engage, debate and support each other.  If someone violates the Terms of Services we do step in from time to time. 

UPLOADING YOUR AVATAR

Go to your profile and click the box where your avatar displays and upload to add your avatar.

Hang out on your surgery type forum and meet those that are right there with you.  Great support and information!

I think I have an old setup ... I have been on here for years.  What you are talking about doesn't correlate, I don't think, with my set up.  There isn't anything on mine that says, "profile", and I can't get my before pic. deleted for the life of me.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.  We all have the same set up. When I say click profile that means your user name in the upper right hand corner to the left of the letter icon.  When you click your user name it takes you to your profile.

You can overwrite a before photo but if you want it deleted and nothing there we have to do it for you. Would you like me to remove your before photo loaded on your profile?

You can just upload over the old one, here is how you do it.  Click upload after and download the photo and save!  That is it!   You don't have to delete and then upload, it just overrides it.  If you need help, let me know
