Are there any other of you at this stage?

So tired and weak. Three shakes a day and a sf yogurt. And I haven't cheated. Not once. Surgery a week away.

Yes, awake now as my stomach is gurgling like crazy and won't stop. Wi**** were here tomorrow.

Only upside is that I am losing about a pound a day on this diet...

Surgery date May 4, 2017

HW 290. Start weight 229. Day of Surgery 209. Month 2: 190. Month 3: 182. Month 4: 174. Month 5: 164. Month 6: 159. Month 7: 153. Month 8: 147. Month 9: 145. Month 10: 142. Month 11: 138 Month 12: 137. Month 13: 139 Month 14: 131. Month 15: 130. Month 16: 131. Month 17: 128. 162 pounds lost!!

Two year anniversary upon me in 3 days: 136. Need to lose a few pounds..

I'm having my surgery this morning so I'm about a week ahead of you. Hang in there with the shakes and drink plenty of water. I allowed myself one cheat day because I was already down 13lbs after the first week of shakes. I combated the tiredness and weakness by trying to walk as much as possible. Good luck!

Close. I am day 16 of 30 of my pre op diet. I have also lost a pound a day. I am feeling weak and sleepy. Taking my vitamins and staying hydrated, getting in the protein. I've changed my tummy's name to cranky baby. So sometimes I just have to go to bed and let it cry it'self to sleep.

Have you tried a glass of milk (skim of course)? Some people find that the lactose neutralizes stomach acid so might cut back some of the gurgling.

It is better to travel and get lost...

Than never to travel at all.

It's really awesome that you're doing so well, and not cheating. So many folks crack under the pressure, then promptly come to various bariatric forums or the WLS subreddit to confess..

Keep it up.. Think about how strong you're being right now. You should be proud.

Are you allowed anything else than the three shakes and one yoghurt a day? Like sugar free popsicles or sugar free jello?

I can have sugar free popsicles or sugar free jello. Crystal light, non calorie flavored water, herb tea and decaf coffee. But I loathe jello and popsicles.

I can put unflavored almond milk or skim milk in my shakes. I didn't do it because milk doesn't agree with me. But today I bought a container of almond milk and I'm going to try a little.

Today is end of day 7. Woo hoo. Not cheating. And actually I felt a little better today. So that's good...definitely eager to get things over with.

All of you you are wonderful with encouragement. I so appreciate it.

Day 7 of 14 for me as well. I cheated today. I had a half of a piece of pizza. Shocking it did not taste as good as I was hoping.

I am losing about a pound a day as well. May 4, can't come soon enough.
