Today I've got my pre-op appointment with the plastic surgeon. I'm super excited and super nervous! But first, I'm going to go run for the first time in forever because I woke up not in agonizing pain from my kidney stone. I'm going to keep it easy and just go around the block (so about a mile) but I'm really eager to get out there. I've only got three weeks of exercise left before a 6 week break to heal :/

1: protein shake
2: protein bar probably - my appointment is at noon so it's a bit inconvenient for meals. If I'm not hungry, I might eat out after my appointment
3: leftover steak salad from last night!

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: RUNNING!!! and stretching

I was starving yesterday. Like, couldn't stop thinking about food starving. It was 100% hormonal driven, no doubt about that. But, this was the first month it hit hard like that. I ended up adding in a 4th meal with 2oz of grilled chicken and that helped some. Otherwise, I just fought the urge to eat the whole day. Because of the 4th meal my calories were over 700 for one of only a few times since surgery. But, I got to 100g of protein for the first time ever too. I already can feel that today will be better. That's normally how it goes, hunger and then total disinterest in food for a couple days.

B: Dannon L&F w/ PB2 and Babybel (I need to run to the store to grab a yogurt because the one in my lunch bag had a hole in it!)

L: P3 Protein Pack, or maybe I'll grab a protein at the store since I'm going anyway.

D: Swai Fish (finally actually going to make this, we ended up having shrimp last night)

S: Premier Protein and I brought some jerky in case I needed the snack

E: 3 mile walk on lunch break

Did you have a big workout yesterday or the day before? Sometimes that triggers an extra hungry day for me.

Last week was pretty insane work outs Tuesday - Saturday. I worked with my trainer and also introduced some running. Then I had two rest days. But, I started my period yesterday and that was it. Today is much, much better. I'm not a bottomless pit anymore! Yay!

I do notice that I'll be more hungry after my days with the trainer but it's nothing like yesterday was!

Is it weird that i chew forbidden food and spit it out just to taste it..?

Not a good idea, actually. It points to an unhealthy relationship with food in my opinion - a little bit like "bulimia lite". This would be a great thing to work with a therapist on.

Good luck at the appointment today Gwen! And glad to hear the pain is better. It's another nice day here today so taking advantage of it.

Good morning, everyone! Beautiful here in KC, so hoping I get some flower tending done, once I get off of work. My petunias need some plucking! :)

B: Bananas & Cream Premier in cup of coffee....this is delicious and I just discovered last week, since I have been staying away from all caffeine until then. I've created a coffee monster in me again....oh MY!

L: 3 oz lean brisket (my hubby made for Mom's Day and it was delicious) and 2 deviled eggs

D: Turkey and Veggie Stuffed Red Pepper/1/2 cup strawberry cottage cheese salad

Water: was terrible with intake yesterday and I paid the price this morning by seeing a TWO POUND gain. :( I'll get 80 oz in today, even if i****er logs me! :)

Vites: yep, every 2 hours with the supplements

Exercise: bound and determined to move my 30 minute of walking a day up to 45 minutes.

Vitamins every 2 hours? I am having surgery June 1st but my dietician just advised that I am to continue to take a daily multivitamin. Is there a reason you have to take so many?
