Re sleeve?

has anyone been re sleeved due to failure.

People have been. There have been a few people who have mechanical problems due to bad surgeons. There are more people who get conversion to RNY due to GERD development though. It's not common for the sleeve to fail - more common for the person to fail the sleeve and that can be corrected without more surgery.

I have heard of people going back into surgery when the surgeon did not do it right.

but I can not imagine removing more percentage of your stomach, if the surgery went well, what would re-sleeving include? leaving just 5% of your tummy?

What caused the failure? What kind of failure is it?

I suppose that all will help with the answer as the question is a bit vague, like the above poster said, if it is a failure as in did not get done correctly, or a failure as in someone did not follow the plan and it causes issues for their sleeve, getting another sleeve does not seem like the answer.. :)

Making your sleeve smaller would probably make your GERD worse. Also, you had mentioned before that you were diagnosed with diabetes before your sleeve. The DS or RNY would give you a better chance of getting your diabetes into remission. Good luck.
