Passed my swallow study, started on clear liquids, Foley catheter removed and pain has lessened up a bit. I'm beyond exhausted though....... Not my body as much as my mind it seems. I feel like I can't stay awake even having cut back on my pain meds.

I can and I will

It takes the body a while to process out the anesthesia completely, so it's totally normal to be tired. Plus, you just had major surgery and your body is healing!

Don't forget that your body has a major wound to heal. Healing occurs most when we are asleep.

you will get there. Give your body a chance.

It is better to travel and get lost...

Than never to travel at all.
