Hi, I have been in the hospital about 2 hours now.

Been weighed

Had pregnancy test( neg)
Spoke to anesthesiologist

checked in etc

sucked a gross anti sickness tablet, and had a blood thining injection.

Pre op weight a week ago : 244

Day of surgery weight: 235 ( I have alot of health problems)

Wish me luck :)

Thank you so much was in hosp 3 days home now :) so glad i did it , was painful but worth it

thank you so much , op was straight forward liver nice and small, had so much gas after and was in alot of pain but much better now trying to get fluids in :) thank u !

Woo! Good luck! Walk and sip as much as possible, follow your instructions, you'll be great.

The pre-op stuff is always the stuff I hate most - "just get on with it already!"

Thank you, i could not walk first day of op as they lost my walking aid in theatre and did not find it till next day!! so was in bed first day , the phisio walked with me the next day twice though which was good. and trying to drink enough is tough too! thanks for the support

Best of luck on the surgery! And don't forget...when you get home you will weigh several pounds more than you did going in because of all the IV fluids they pump you with. DO NOT let that discourage you! It will take a week or so to get that off, and then you'll be off and running! I'd advise you to stay off the scale for the first 3 weeks or so, but nobody ever does lol

That first scale step was a shocker to me- forgot all about the extra fluid!
