Hi. I am in UK.

It seems other places have more variety for liquid stage.

No jello ( We call jelly) No yogurt, no pudding.

All I am allowed is. :

Broth, Cordial like crystal light, ice pops, water, milk.

I am so weak.. :( I have no energy and I have 14 days of this!!

( No regrets of the op just feel miserable)

I am surprised that you aren't allowed any protein. I remember feeling weak, but was able to drink protein shakes at least. Well, you are more than halfway there. Keep plugging. So sorry you're feeling miserable.

Weird. Do you have access to something like Fairlife milk in the US? It's a milk that has a higher protein than normal milk and might satisfy your nurse?

Sorry - I realized my phrasing was bad. I meant to say "do you have Fairlife milk like we have in the US?" But I left out a few words!

I was able to drink protein shakes as soon as I came home just one day after surgery. Call your surgeons office and double check that you are doing the right thing. If you are allowed to drink milk, it seems like you could drink a thin protein shake.

I have been speaking to my dietician almost everyday lol she said she would prefer i drink one pint of milk a day than to drink a protien shake!

I told her that a couple of days ago i only had 4 ounce of a protien shake but she said she would prefer i drink milk :)
