Do I really get to start the meal thread today?! Yay rah!

Today should be a busy day here. I've got to get my pre-op blood work done this morning, so I'm fasting until after that. Then I'm back home to work on school before meeting up with my bereavement group for lunch. Then more school. My assignment for the week is "fix medicare." Seems slightly outside the scope for a 100-level class....

1: protein shake
2: omelet (my go to bereavement group lunch since we always go to Bob Evans.)
3: leftovers - maybe the rest of the omelet or maybe beef and asparagus stir fry!

liquid and vites: will be on track
exercise: probably not, although it is a gorgeous morning!

Hi all. The scale read 180 today. This is my goal that I set when I started this journey. I will celebrate this moment, but am not settling. Onward and downward with the next goal at 160.

L: roasted chicken, slaw, and lettuce wraps

D: turkey burger with lettuce wrap

S: yogurt

I feel like 180 is a common "starter" goal number. It was definitely mine! I was 180 when I graduated high school, so it was my lowest "adult" weight and my surgeon's goal for me as well. I'm glad I didn't settle for that and kept going!

5'7"

I was 180 when I met my fiance 9 years ago. But I was power packed with muscle. I had lost 200 lbs and had been working with a trainer a couple of years and had plastics. I wore a size 6.

Now, same weight. I can't wear the same clothes, although I see the possibility.

Actually my next goal might be 158. I want the normal BMI.

Congrats on your milestone! I am the same height as you and 158 felt like such an accomplishment!
