Blog Recommendations?

I met with my surgeon today to go over the results of my endoscopy! Everything looks good, and I was super excited that his recommendation lined up with the surgery I'd been leaning towards. If all goes well, I'll be getting the VSG at the end of the year! :)

Anyway, I've been learning a lot from lurking around the OH threads, but I tend to prefer reading through WLS surgery blogs--I think something about following a person consistently throughout their journey really appeals to me. There are a ton of blogs for RNY, but I haven't had as much luck encountering bloggers who've had the VSG.

Do any of you have any favorite WLS blogs? Preference for VSG, but I'd also be down for blogger discussing their experiences with other WLS. They don't have to be recent, though that's always a bonus. And, of course, if any of you have blogs, feel free to self-rec. :D

I love The World According to Eggface. She also has fantastic recipes made with real-world WLS expertise!

I also love and crack up over Experiencing Nirvana vlog on YouTube.

Ooo, yes, I love Eggface! A month or two ago I went all the way back to the beginning of her blog and read through every single entry!

I haven't looked through many videos, so I'll have to check out Experiencing Nirvana! :D

There are a lot of blogs that are created by real professionals, each of them has its own style and method. So you better need to find more people and chose the best doctor. Personally I like Bariatric Cookery, it is one of the best WLS blogs in the world and it has millions of visitors. So you can check and see if you like it, but I am sure you will. Btw, soon I will create my blog as well, I have a lot of information collected after I had a surgery, so I will share my experience with other people.
