Are any short women out there eating close to 1k calories and still losing? I'm almost 6 months out and finding it really difficult to eat less than 900-1000k at this point. Anyone else?

I am 5'2 and do not lose on 1000 calories. That is maintenance for me.

ugh, that's what I fear might be the case for me too. I think I need to just make myself eat 800 and deal with it!

The smaller you get - the less you can eat. But at you age you should be able to eat about 10 calories per pound to maintain. Example, to weigh 110, eat 1100 calories a day. That has gotten less for me every year.

my goal is 165...so once I get there I can eat 1650 calories a day? that seems like soooo many. I don't think I could. lol

I am ten years out. I could eat a meal of lasagna, Italian Bread, salad, and chocolate cake for dessert. Because I can does not mean that I do, but you will be amazed how much we can eat as time goes by.

I'm 8 months out and I was eating 800 calories at 6 months when I hit maintenance. Now I'm at just shy of 8 months and I eat 1,300-1,400/day and it's not hard. I'm still losing too.

I'm 5'3" but I weigh more than you. I'm 11 months out and am losing about 1 pound per week...sometimes 2 pounds...at 1000-1100 calories. I follow a ketogenic diet.

Can you get a resting metabolic rate test? It doesn't really have to do with your height, so much as your metabolic rate + current weight.

Many, many people here find that 1,000 - 1,100 is their maintenance range. Most people need to eat 600 - 800 calories/day to continue losing weight.
