I'm having my VSG Nov 17th, (a day after my 34th Birthday...what a gift!) in 10 days! Who else is having surgery this month?

You and I have the same surgery date, Brendie. Maybe we can check in with one another every few days during the pre-op diet to keep us on track.

Perfect! I am 62, married, need to lose about 100 lbs. Lost it in 2015 and gained it all back, probably a familiar story for many of us on this forum! I have been seeing a therapist for a couple months and have finished my six months medically supervised weight loss. I've lost almost 30 lbs since May. I want this tool to help me keep it off this time and am finally getting my head around the fact that I will have to be diligent for the rest of my life or I'll be right back where I started. I'm pretty nervous about the pre-op diet, but I think I can do it!! I have to do it. I'm not really worried about the surgery, but what comes after is scaring me. I know it will be a huge change!
