Yay, I get to participate again!

QOTD: Hiking. I've always like hiking but never had the stamina or balance to do it and not get injured. Now, I've conquered 2 of the 7 mountains in my city and am on track to conquer them all!

B: Oikos Triple Zero Salted Caramel

L: 4 oz. spiced up chicken

D: ?? something tasty from the air fryer

QOTD: I would have to say actually having the courage to go to the gym by myself! I would scope out the parking lot and drive by looking in the windows to see how many people there was inside. I would cry in my truck and then call my boyfriend to have him come up to the gym to go with me. (We live 2 miles from the gym). Now I love going by myself and don't need my hand held to go inside. :)

B: L&F Dannon Greek Yogurt

L: Leftover sloppy joe 2.5 oz (no bun)

S: Luna protein bar

D: TBD

Liquids: 12oz Coffee w/ 2 tbsp SF organic creamer and lots of water

Exercise: Leg/Core day at the gym (5 miles bike, 1 mile elliptical and machines)

Surgery Date: 09/19/2017 HW: 304.6 SW: 288.1 CW: 245 lbs M1: -19 M2: -16 M3:-8

Hey. From what I can tell, Luna protein bars have 12 G protein for 170 calories. They're not a great option due weight loss. A good rule of thumb for prepared foods is no more than 10 calories per gram of protein. So the Luna bars should either be 120 calories for the 11 grams of protein, or 17 grams of protein for the 170 calories.

ya I know they aren't great but they are just temporary until I can find one I can tolerate since I am having a harder time with finding a protein drink.

At this point, you should be able to get your protein from real foods. Not replacements like shakes and bars.

I want to get more than 60g of protein so my doctor said there is nothing wrong with having a protein bar and/or shake ONCE a day.

If you're having a high quality shake or bar, that's probably true. Otherwise you're better off with 3 extra ounces of chicken or fish or pork or cow.

Good morning all! It's Goal Day for me!! Woohoo! 169.6.

I've spent Goal Day so far and Goal Day Eve dealing with identity theft woes. I'm up to 8 fraudulent credit card applications attempted and likely more to come in the next few days until the credit freezes and fraud alerts kick in. Ugh. What a mess.

QOTD: I added hiking back into my life. I enjoy it, especially doing it with my friends, and really felt like our relationships were suffering because I was the one always opting out (not wanting to have a heart attack and die and such). Now I can say yes and feel back in the fold so to speak.

B - coffee and yogurt

L - chicken soup

D - chicken soup (it was a really big pot of soup!)

S - roasted broad beans, string cheese, halotop

Oh no Cecily, was this due to the Equifax disaster? I'm so sorry!

I blame Equifax. These people have all my information. Name including middle which I never use, address, SSN, phone numbers new and old... I'm now up to 9 accounts this morning!
