I would do 3 ounces of meat, which should be around 20-22g of protein.

I'd add no more than 1 ounce TOTAL of the other stuff, for 4 ounces total.

I've kept my meals in the 3-5 ounce range since surgery and this has worked well for me.

Other than knowing liquid with my meal (and the amount of moisture in the food), I'm not sure of all the other variables that impact how much I can eat. I assume how dense the food is, how fibrous, how much I chew, the size of my bites, maybe tension/stress that relaxes or constricts the muscles, time of the day (hunger? feeding time?)...the amount of food in ounces I can eat varies greatly.

When I'm doing it right I don't drink anything after I leave to go out to eat, skip the water with my food, and take a small bite every 30 seconds to a minute chewing throughly. For me I can tell when I'm getting full and when not to take another bite. I've heard others, especially closer to post-op, that it takes +/- 5 min to feel full and they need to eat slower to avoid the 'foamies' or worse. I've been lucky and can instantly tell when I'm full. If I eat another bite I get uncomfortable. One more bit and I start to lose focus on anything else (stop paying attention to the conversation) and start salivation.

So what I'm saying is your sleeve is fully healed 4 months out, eat slowly, stop when your full. Remember to add as much protein as you can. Remember to get your liquids in before and after eating.
