Today marks MY official one month anniversary of MovingWait. My surgery anniversary however was on the 18th and here are my stats. HW 351, Pre-Surgery Weight 261, Post Surgery 257, CW 228. VSG had been the answer but it was no one but our GOD'S will. I had my surgery through Belite Weight.com in Juarez Mexico with Dr. Jose Rodriguez-Villareal in Hospital Angeles and I have to date not had any from surgery complications. I have miminual fading scars and I feel great most of the time. My relationship with food has drastically changed and in the beginning I was worried, now I just go with what works for me, through research and prayer. I have a vitamin regime and I have a support system and mentor, I am blessed. I started working out again on the 18th and I am taking it gradually. I will try to update here once a month and post some pictures soon.

Be Blessed EVERYONE and enjoy your journey-Lisa-Marie

14 Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.15 Let the peace of CHRIST rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16ALet the WORD of CHRIST richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another 17 Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the LORD JESUS , giving thanks through Him to GOD the FATHER.

It would be great if you opted to stick around and participate instead of just drive-by posting once a month.

Be careful with exercise for a few more weeks - most surgeons require that we only walk for the first six weeks post-op in order to avoid straining muscles or twisting our abdomens.

Gwen,

You are right about that! The only way I was allowed to exercise until no has been with the physical therapist, so I don't hurt my stomach/abdomen. NO twisting, no heavy lifting, etc.

Yes, please stick around and join the fun, that is how you will get to have another source of encouragement. I also have a mentor outside of here, but it is good to have more perspectives than just one.

Congratulations on your progress! It must feel wonderful to be in the low 200s!

My surgeon only cleared me for low-impact cardio and walking until he sees me at my 7 week appointment. Don't hurt yourself, go very easy at first!
