3days after surgery

hi I just wanted to update you all ,three days after surgery still alittle nauseous no pain what's so ever! I had real bad dry heaves the first 2 days but never no pain .anyone else have this and how long for it to go away? I want to thank you all so much you don't know how much my lil convos mean to me! Nausea at this point is often due to dehydration or acid. How much liquid are you getting in each day? Are you taking a PPI such as Prilosec or Nexium?

I just got out of hospital so I'm taken my sips but I have be nauseous sense I got out of surgery! Not as bad right now ! Gonna try some protein in afew mins ! But no pain at all I think they had to give me 1 pain shot and that's when I got back from surgery!

How much liquid are you getting in?

They said to do 30ml cups every 15 mins

Okay. You should be doing that 64 times a day.

Ok thank you just got home at around 1 so I'm doing pretty good ! I love all the help , because it really helps hearing from others who already went through the rough stages ! Again thank you

Congrats on the no pain, I have lots of pain on r side of belly. But I was only nauseous for shoet time before surgery & after. They gave me a patch behind my ear & zophran (anti naseous med) Hope u start to feel better. God Bless.

MY surgery was Tuesday morning. I wanted to ask u id u are hungry? I'm really hungry, just started today & caught me off guard. I am allowed yogurt, sugar free ice pops, protein drinks, vitamins, broth, any no calorie drinks
