Almost 2 years post op/Tummy issues

Hello everyone,

I will be 2 years post op in July (and 120 pounds gone) and I have been experiencing my first real "tummy issues" for the past week or so.

I am having terrible acidity issues along with gassiness, bloating, nausea, etc. My eating habits have not changed at all. I stick with proteins, a few random carbs like rice or pasta here and there (never in the same week) and I don't eat spicy food. I haven't had any sickenesses as far as viruses are concerned. I am almost wondering if I am developing gallstones.

Can anyone relate to this? I know the obvious answer is to see my doctor, but I was just curious if this happens to anyone else.

It isn't abnormal for people to develop acid issues. Definitely schedule with your doctor to check things out.

Are you on a PPI? Acid issues popping up are very common.
