Quick Update

Since I've disappeared before and people have worried...

I'm going to be pretty much AFK for the next two weeks due to vacation, wrapping up the end of the term, and then INELDA training.

Everything is good, just very busy right now and internet access will be limited on my trip. I'm going to Denmark (Legoland and NOMA!!) and then Norway (mainly Oslo area) and I'm pretty excited. Just need to finish up the term first :)

I plan to live on chocolate and salmon while on my trip, so hopefully all the walking will balance out with the food.

I spent way too much time this morning getting my camera situation sorted out. I figure I won't be using my phone much since it won't have service when we're out in the wild, so I'll be taking my "little" camera and then my DSLR. My DSLR happens to be my dad's, and I hadn't really gone through the camera bag since bringing it home. (My old DSLR was also a hand me down from my dad, heh. I "inherited" it when he got his new DSLR. Then I really inherited his new DSLR, so his new DSLR is now my new DSLR!)

Good thing I checked it all out today instead of waiting until tomorrow since apparently my dad didn't believe in lens caps AND there were no SD cards in the bag, and I don't have any HUGE extra SD cards hanging around. Thank you, Amazon, for next day delivery on Sunday!

Can you believe I had to Google DSLR!! Amazon is wonderful, especially when you need next day shipping. Sounds like you are another step closer to leaving!!
