Good morning! It's a bit late for this post to get started. I feel like there are so few of us that join in :( I hope that changes when everyone comes in out of the heat of summer!
I made my first social media, an instagram! Mostly to take pictures of what I do out and about and making new memories that I never had before. Not expecting followers, just mostly for friends and myself. I got to post some pictures of my trips over this last week!
Today's food menu is a little spotty. I'm going out to dinner, so unsure of where we're going and what it will be. We were going to go to a middle eastern place for mother's day, but didn't end up, so may go today.
QOTD: Do you have outdoor hobbies? What are they? I'm trying to find more things to do outside that are fairly active! So far, just the garden I planted. Am still looking into getting a bike.
I often wonder why the RNY forum has soooo many people who participate but VSG does not. Well, anyway, it's a new week!
QOTD: I don't love it, but I garden. I love flowers and I love fresh vegetables. The only gardening I actually enjoy is my herb garden (in pots on the deck). I also enjoy reading outside or just sitting on the deck for first cup of tea. As mentioned before, I love camping. I guess that counts as an outdoor hobby.

Morning everyone! Back from vacation to real life today. I have a lot to catch up on!
oTD: My dad got a pontoon boat last year, so we enjoyed going out on that fishing and cruising the lake. It's not very active unless we swim. Swimming is one of the few summer activities I will participate in outdoors. I really truly cannot stand the heat lol! In the past I've played rec league softball, but that's about it for active outdoors.

Good morning Mersh and menu crew. I had a crazy end to my week last week, I had to go to Montreal on Thursday and Friday and was not able to post on Friday. I hope everyone had a great weekend, hope all the Moms out there enjoyed their special day. I had a big surprise on Saturday night. I thought we were going to dinner with a couple of our friends, when we got to the restaurant it was filled with about 30 of my friends and my parents to celebrate my 50th birthday. I was shocked...my 50th Birthday keeps on giving.
Accountability - OK - I had chinese yesterday. Stayed away from rice, noodle and breaded items but did have some fired calamari...
QOTD - Hike - trying to become an Adirondack 46'er, Camp, Kayak , we are always outside enjoying the Mountains or Lake Champlain ( I am a block from the Lake).
