I need some help. I have about 40 more pounds to lose to my goal of 180. This will be from 400 lbs!! I had surgery almost 4 years ago and currently still doing pretty good. How can I jump start my weight loss again? Any help would be great!!!

If you live in Waldorf as your profile lists, there's a support group at the MedStar Brandywine location that might be useful for you. It meets the first Monday of every month at 7pm, is free, and is open to everyone whether they've used MedStar or not.

Are you still losing weight or are you maintaining at 220? Are you measuring and logging every thing that you put into your mouth with something like MyFitnessPal? If you're not, I'd definitely start there so you can get the best possible picture of what you're doing and what you need to change.

What does a daily meal plan look like for you? If you give us some examples of how you eat each day, we can try to troubleshoot for you.

I bounce back and forth from 195 -200 can't get the tracker to move. Still losing a pound here and there. I do measure but don't log. I eat chicken fish and seafood drink water and take my vitamins.

That is a very vague response!

If you're not achieving the results you want, and don't know why, the best thing you can do is weigh, measure, and track to see what you're consuming - otherwise it's all just guesswork. I recommend starting there.

at four years out, you are eating too many calories and it is putting you into maintaince.

If you aren't logging, you have no idea , really, how many calories you are consuming, so you can't lnow how many to cut out.

Many of us won't lose unless we are eating less than 800 cals a day and no liquid calories.
