I'll get today started and hopefully no one will ninja me while I type it up.

QOTD: If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning medal for?

1: protein shake
2: protein shake
3: Suugo (a Somali pasta sauce), pasta for the guys

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: parkrun!!! - this is a worldwide free 5k race series and I finally did the "local" one. The entire distance! It's super hot, and stupidly humid, and I've run 13 times so far in the last 12 months so I'm totally untrained, but I did it in 55 mins which is still better than the first ever 5k race I did in 2014. So go me!!

QOTD: Procrastination, for sure. I'd not only win medals, I'd win gold medals. FLEX. And don't try to tell me procrastination isn't an activity.. I get more random stuff done when I'm procrastinating than when I'm not :D It's just the -wrong- stuff!

Haha, Gwen I'm a fellow procrastinator, it keeps me busier than most other activities!

Morning everyone! We were filming the tourism commercial again this morning. Both Rylan & Nyah were filmed too, so we'll have to wait and see if any of us make it in the final cut!

QOTD: I could be an Olympic level researcher/planner. When something lies ahead I have to find out every single thing I can about the situation and then plot out how I will deal with each possible scenario. Being unprepared is not an option. I guess it gives me the (illusion of) control I need to be at ease.

Good morning! Congratulations Gwen on the 55 minute Park Run, that's wonderful!

I took Emmy on a trail yesterday that was so forested and dense it was hard to see what was around the corner. Thank goodness Emmy is very loud, she warned any wildlife within miles that we were coming. 30 minutes into the hike an unexpected storm passed through and we ended up under a tree for almost an hour. It was exciting and scary all at the same time. We made it back to the car soaked and well exercised!

QOTD-Since Gwen already took procrastination, I guess mine would be cleaning. Once I get started there is no stopping me.

QOTD: If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning medal for? I asked my husband what he thought I'd have a good chance at winning a medal at, and we both agreed, it would be Googling. I don't know how I survived before Google!

This is what I think I'm having today...but of course, it's always subject to change. I'm kind of concerned about the lack of fiber in my diet...I'm not pooping but once or twice a week! I may have to start fitting a Quest Bar into my day, maybe splitting it into two snacks. Or does anyone else have any ideas?

So about pooping... It is a different world. You have to find your new normal and it may include supplements as Gwen suggested.

I've got a big jug Miralax.

My nutritionist doesn't want me taking a fiber supplement right now, but when I can, I have a big ol' jug of Metamucil too. Yeah, I buy in bulk. hahah

It's not so much that I'm constipated...I have no discomfort or anything...it's the frequency (or lack of)

Maybe it is my new normal.
