Personally, the first month after surgery was miserable for me. It did get better daily but it is a phase you have to keep going through it and know that it is worth it. I have lost over 100lbs in 8 months and feel so blessed to have gone through surgery. I am a totally new being. God has transformed everything about me!

Keep at it, it is worth it :)

Thanks so much and Oh, I know how you feel. It irritates me sometimes when people go on and on about how much weight I have lost and how good I look. I feel like ... dang was it that bad before? haha... but I guess people just want to express themselves.... I am glad our tool is working for us.

lol, they eventually figured out it was me but it was just funny that the same people that I have known for over 12 years didnt recognize me right away! Loving the mystery :)

I went to church with my hubby yesterday and a couple of people asked him who he came to church with and where his wife was..... Funny, they didnt recognize me. Over 100lbs down in 8 months. So grateful for my sleeve. I thank God that it worked for me!

For the newbies out there, follow your doctor's guidelines and stay on track and everything will work out for you~

I love my new body! WooHoo!

Don't worry about what others think once you make up your mind this is for you. When I told my immediate brother about surgery he freaked out and was against it. He offered to drive me to the gym everyday and work out with me. Yeah right. I stuck to my guns. Now, 7 months later he is marveled at how surgery has refined me and he constantly compliments me now. He told me last week that I look 10 years younger and he is so proud of me. He said he is glad I didnt listen to his critisism and did what was best for me.

Don't worry when people see it working for you... they would get on board with it. Some will still become haters but you just have to keep it moving ....

No worries. The Tatas will shrink as well. Mine has. Most people I know that have undergone suggery too have had their tatas shrink as well. I went from a 42dd and now at 36d with 96lbs lost.

I am so grateful for my sleeve, its been exactly 7 months today since my surgery. I started at 265 and I weighed in today at 173, Lots have happened in 7 months but I am so grateful to God for watching over me through this journey. I have renewed confidence. Thank you all for your support. I have 23 more lbs to goal and with God's help I will get there.

Mine look a lot like that too, its nice to know that I am not alone. I am glad we dont all walk around naked. I have been doing all I can with my nicely rounded push up bras. It gives a great illusion :)

What you are feeling is normal. I had a hard time for the first month too but things do get better. Keep your focus on the future and imagine the changes you would have in the next 2-3 months even. Hang in there, it only gets better day by day. I will say a prayer for you. May God grant you all you need to get through this. All the best!
