I'm so ready for Friday..is it Friday yet? So ready to leave the office that I didn't send my list of foods home! So here it is from memory and fitday:

breakfast: waffles as ususal and coffee and espresso and herb tea

Snack: 1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat..and 3 celery stalk and 1 oz ranch dressing

Lunch: 1 cup cooked cabbage, 1/2 tuna casserole

Snack: ...nothing..but I did have four containers of water before my physical therapy and one after.

I had the brilliant idea to have my hubby take me to Subway for their $5 footlong sub deal (of course it's gonna be a meatball marinara on flat bread!)

Dinner: meatball marinara sub on flat bread

Dessert: 1/2 a serving of mini protein made in a cup chocolate cup cake (ala eggface!)

    totals without the cake:
    Calories: 1611
    Fat: 79.0
    Carbs: 156.0 (OUCH!)
    Protein: 77.5

Well that was a total fail..bummer. The tuna casserole was 22.5 carbs, the apple was 19 but the meatball marinara...70 grams. damn it. it was so good too..oh rats.

mmm and I have another 6" to consume in the next couple of days..I better eat nothing but meat other than that!

    How did you do?

Hey Dawn!  I am so glad tommorrow is Friday.  It feels like this has been the longest week...Here's the food for today:

    B:  1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese, 14 almonds, 5 prunes, 1 packet stevia
Starbucks iced venti sugar free vanilla 2% latte
    2 x 16.9oz water
L:  2 slices protein bread, 2 tbsp almond butter, 1 tbsp sugar free apricot jam
    2 x 16.9oz water
    S: 5 prunes
D: 6oz bonless/skinless chicken thighs, 1/3 cup grated cheddar cheese, 2 tbsp jalapeno ranch dressing, 2 tbsp salsa, flatout flatbread, spinach, grated carrots/red cabbage, sliced peppercinis, 1 packet stevia

    1592 calories, 68 fat, 131 carbs, 99.5 protein

So tired that I considered not preparing my breakfast and lunch for tommorrow.  That idea has been coming up more often this week.  I have been doing it anyway because having them ready works, but it concerns me a little that I have been thinking this way.  Onward to Friday...q.

LOL..I had a thought like that this morning for tomorrow! My waffles are made at least a week ahead of time but today (Friday) was the last one and I will need to get up early tomorrow and make some more..I nixed that idea and made eggs and sausage for breakfast today..but I'm really losing steam this week. I need the weekend to recharge for sure!

You did great..I still have protein bread left from when I made some a couple weeks ago..but GOSH it's filling..

Keep up the good work! See ya.

Thursday started off on a great note. I got some much needed good sleep - woke up on time & refreshed - even got in 10 mins on the elliptical.
I did great on my "eats" during the day, but crashed when i got home.

    Breakfast:
    40oz coffee
    6oz FF yogurt
9.5 oz ProJoe protein coffee drink
    16oz CL

    Lunch:
    1cup Spinach & egg salad
    36oz CL

    Snack:
    Protein shake w/ 8oz water

    Dinner:
cheese quesadilla (1/2 c of cheese & 2 white corn tortillas) - what the deuce??!!
    1.5 c chicken soup broth
1 pc texas garlic toast (again with the toast!)
IDK why i ate so much at dinner. I felt that full feeling, but kept eating - why?? b/c it was there. i wasnt full after the quesadilla so i went for the soup (which is what i had first in mind, but had the quesadilla instead). i was full at about 1 cup through the soup, but stuff another 1/2 cup & a pc of toast. I knew i ate way too much. i just dont know why (other than b/c it was there).

    Totals:
    Cals - 1029
    Fat - 36
    Protein - 95
    Carbs - 74

Still..carbs are under protein so it's good..And 1000 calories are nothing..

You did good. It's probably better that you have alittle of what you crave and get it out of your system so you can get back to business...as long as it's not a whole month of that stuff, then I'm pretty sure I'd have to say something! just kidding. I think you're doing great.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

lol thanks Dawn. You always make me feel better.
I almost didnt post b/c i felt it was "confessing" & I put such a mental trip on myself about it.
Sometimes ... no all the time actually - i swear i am way too Type A.
Wanting to get things "perfect" all the time really gets the best of me sometimes. I mean, it causes all sorts of unnecessary stress. I tag it a failure (which i hate the most) & focus on that sense of failure which brings me down & leads to blah blah blah. its a vicious circle. & the worse thing is - i do it to myself!
ya - im so seeking counseling...:)

So many times I feel like I'm getting far too many calories but I'm maintaining my weight right around 125-130 so it's not a problem..but the numbers I get sometimes make me feel like I've screwed up too. I know each of us is harder on ourselves than we would be to other people..We all need help in being our own best friend..it's hard to do but we all should love ourselves first..do the best that we can for ourselves and BE KIND to ourselves..FIRST..but somehow that makes us feel selfish or self centered..that's not the case but we've been told over and over for EVER to put other people first..we are told we should come LAST..

I'm glad to help..You all have no idea how much you help me too..that's why we're here..

Keep up the good work..see ya!
