I started my journey in June and am hoping to have surgery sometime in December. Wanted to join, say hi and see if there is anyone just starting out.

Good luck with your surgery! I'm hoping the whole process goes quickly. It's already been 2 months since I started and it seems like those 2 months have flown by! I'm excited and a little nervous.

Good Luck to the both of you.  Its an amazing journey.  Please try to plan for the first plateau at around 3 weeks.  Dont let scale be the only measure you go by either.  Take measurements ! :D

You are going to love the outcome of the process.

Hi! I started the process in late April and just had my surgery August 23rd. I missed one appointment and that is why it took a month longer. I'm already seeing results.

I wish you a lot of luck and happiness!

Hello! I started in June as well. :) BMI 37.8. I have BCBS FED. On Sept. 12th I have my 3rd month PCP visit (final required diet visit) and also on that day my NUT appt.  Those are the last two things I need to have done prior to submitting to insurance.  On the 12th I will get my O2 results and see if I need to be referred for sleep study. Good luck to you!

Wow! Thanks for all the support eveyone! Can't believe it is September already! Hopefully only 3 more months and I can submit to my insurance(my insurance requires 6 months of nutrition appointments and 6 support group meetings) So far things are going great! I am down 14 lbs from my all time time high weigh in on 7/28! Good luck to everyone!
