He said I'm a good candidate for RNY, and started setting up my pre-surgery appointments with my PCP, blood work, upper GI, etc. It's really hitting home that this is happening!  I'll keep you updated as to my progress. ~~~~~original post~~~~~ I'm meeting my surgeon tomorrow for my initial consult. I'm actually a bit nervous! I didn't think I would be, but I guess it's really hitting me that this could really happen...it's exciting and nerve-wracking all at the same time. Wish me luck! |
