Here's an update from my initial consult with the surgeon. He said I'm a good candidate for RNY, and started setting up my pre-surgery appointments with my PCP, blood work, upper GI, etc. It's really hitting home that this is happening!   I'll keep you updated as to my progress.

 I'm meeting my surgeon tomorrow for my initial consult. I'm actually a bit nervous! I didn't think I would be, but I guess it's really hitting me that this could really happen...it's exciting and nerve-wracking all at the same time. Wish me luck!
