So the medical director for Optima Insurance Denied me the surgery.. A person who doesn't know me or has ever met me other than a piece of paper denied me.

Thank goodness I have a great surgery team,PCP and supporting staff/Doctor's who are all going to complete a Peer to Peer with the medical director..

I hate insurance companies.. and sad part is I work for the company who owns this insurance company go figure.. Jerk off's..

I am on round 3 with mine. First round denied because they overlooked a page. Second time was because they didn't like that page (wasn't enough proof that I now what I am getting into). So now I am waiting on my doc's office to put together a better document and we go into round 3.

I am so sorry you going through that.. I know it's frusterating first hand... Hopefully it will be resolved for both of us..

I will be mad if it goes to next year since I have met all my deductibles already..
